On this day in 1933:The fictional character the Lone Ranger was introduced on radio station WXYZ in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to Froggy the Gremlin and Superman, he was one of my heroes when I was a kid growing up in New Jersey. Who are your childhood heroes?
