La Fête de la Musique 2005
Tuesday, June 21st, 2005Hang on to your hats, it’s both the longest day of the year and the day of the annual (formerly French, now thoughout Europe) blow-out: la Fête de la Musique. We’ll be hitting mostly our neighborhood with friends, both local and imported.
BTW: Jean-Paul Sartre, considered the father of existentialism, was born 100 years ago today. How would he celebrate "la Fête de la Musique"?
The favorite neighbors of the favorite mother of my favorite wife…
Monday, June 20th, 2005We’re headed out to the Rosebud tonight for dinner with Don & Judy. Taste buds are already tingling!
UPDATE: Stayed until well past midnight since after dinner (merci, M. Don) we were joined by Cathy & Bernard (the neighbors of the title!). Excellent meal, wine and post-prandial conversation. Vive le Rosebud, vivent les amis!
